I'm still not sure how to do it. Can you help me? I already tried dragging it.

Unzip the file to your desktop so you have a .crx, and then drag that onto Chrome in the tab bar. It should open as a new tab and install.

For some reason, it doesn't work when you drag it from the .zip.

I can't believe I have been going on so long with one of Chrome's preset themes. I'm definitely installing this and a couple others themes of yours. Thank you so much!

the full background doesn't appear when I open a new tab- is there a larger version of this?

There's a widescreen version in the comments in the first page, but there's no plain larger one, sorry. It's been a long time and i've lost the master copy too. :(

Oh yes, I totally agree. I just love contrast photos of cities. :)

I can't, sadly, offer that, but I do have this image in wallpaper form for your PC if you're interested.

dA really hates you. :9

I think it's the magnitude of the cityscape that gets me. It makes you feel so small but at the same time appreciative of what's been accomplished so far. And the setting of stars makes it more wistful, kind of along the lines of 'YOU CAN REACH FOR THE STARS' corniness.

Yaaaaaaay!

yes dA does hate me. :(

I will, at some point, make an image of ridiculous resolution because I too wanted to express that idea you had there but don't really have the skill atm. The whole idea of being able to use a different part of that image as a wallpaper without repetition appeals to me to really get that idea of scale across.

That's so intense! I kinda wish my screen was bigger...haha, imagine this picture on one of your bedroom walls, top to bottom and end to end. That would be amazing.

looks nice, I like those stars in the top bar.
same problem as ~SergeantQuagmire. my screen is 1920x1080 in case you need to know.
or at least move the cityscape to the center, because it is sitting there at the left of my window...

I can't shift where the picture sits when it is too small. Chrome automatically puts that to the left, btw. :S

This will look better for you, but it won't solve it, because your resolution is larger than what I made the picture at. The background is 1600x1280.

Anyway, try the widescreen version:

Some smart guys on the MSPA forums are doing Firefox Homestuck skins.
Its possible, but Firefox's personas are a lot less comprehensive than Chrome's ones.

Yeah. The skin only goes over the top part, so it gets tiring. It would be nice I guess.

Oh shit yes sorry forgot to add its 1280x1024 only. I do have the image larger, but it would have cut in unfortunate ways for the rest of us with smaller screens. How big is your screen?

16:9. But its ok! the theme still works very well! :D

I sort of meant resolution wise, not aspect ratio! lol

The resolution ruse was a distaction? You hass the theme?

But seriously, glad you like it. It looked bad on my tiny resolution PC, so I shrunk the image, so I guess it was worth repackaging it to fix that for those of us with larger screens.
