===INFO===
This is a skin for Windows Media Player to make it look like Pesterchum, to match Shinmera and Armada's latest hot applications.

===INSTRUCTIONS===
Simply extract run it.
If this doesn't work, go to C\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Skins and drop it there.

Volume control is right of the visualization, progress at the very bottom.

At the risk of being that guy, I just installed it and it works with Windows 7 latest.
This doesn't help you, I know (although I must thank you. I forgot how refreshing WMP skins are).

Notably, deleting the .wmz file doesn't affect the functionality of WMP skins as they're copied over, so it can't be that. Have you been changing anything in the skins folder inside the Windows Media Player application directory? Other than that, I can only really suggest a restart, updating WMP and prayer to your deity as solutions.

Windows Media Player hasn't changed much at all since XP; mostly changes in codecs and structure, but not skin handling for sure, which is why XP-era skins (think Toothy) will continue to work to this day. So I'd try downloading a skin that's guaranteed to work (One from here, for example: [link]), and see if that works at all.

Awesome. Might download this sometime. :3

Bit iffy on skinning stuff on my computer though. Changing things like that seems to upset my laptop and make it run slow. >C *Jabs at laptop with a "Ram" brand speedy fast stick.*
(Lol, yes, made up weird name for Ram Sticks. XD Even though that's not what's wrong with my computer. >>)

That's the trick. You aren't using a application to skin anything. Sure, things like Windowblinds and stuff are super laggy, but this is a WMP skin for the program itself. WMP was designed to work with skins flawlessly and, in fact, my skin is in the same code as the skin the program uses from day to day when not in skin mode. It may even be faster as my skins are very simply and thus light on code.

That said, its easy to turn off the skin if it doesn't work for you, so i'd suggest you give it a go and see if you lose any performance.
